Buyers and investors are looking for businesses that will render good returns on their investments and carry the least amount of risk. To this end they generally have a list of criteria they are looking for. This list essentially embodies “the perfect business”. In reality there is no such business, and hence we do not aim to achieve top results in all these areas, however actively acknowledging them and have an action plan to work towards achieving them (as best possible) is the aim. Any areas where your business fails short will represent a risk area to buyers and they would account for this risk in the price they are will to pay.

 

The list starts at the basics and then moves to more advanced areas. Each buyer has there own priorities and different industries have different criteria. It is important to start the process by understanding what a buyer would want from your business.

THE PROGRAM

So how will it work?

  • Each program is unique and customised to the individual Client / Business

  • We start with a Strategy Session to assess the preliminary status of the business and how ''Sale Ready'' the business is. This session should ideally take place at the Business premises but could be done Online.

  • Then, using a formal structure over a 3 month period (depending on the outcome of the Strategy Session and what is agreed with the Client) we plan a series of Action Points that we want to achieve over the period of the Program.

  • Where appropriate, we can interact over 1-hour sessions, conducted via Zoom Video Conferencing or Telephone Call.

  • To accommodate busy Business Owners, the sessions can even take place after normal Office Hours.

  • An Online Folder ("Data Room") will be used to share all applicable information.

  • We will be available via unlimited email or telephone discussions during the duration of the Program, and for a reasonable period thereafter.

  • The Business Owner will provide certain specific information to us upfront; we will review this information and get a good understanding of the business, formulate some initial basic questions and consider the key value drivers of the business.

  • Thereafter, we will compile a unique, customised plan for the business.

  • After each session we will provide a summary of what was discussed, identified areas of improvement and recommended action.

  • Although the Program has a pre-defined structure and basic format, we understand that each business is different and we will have to tailor the program to accommodate the characteristics of your business. As such, the program is kept flexible and subject to change throughout.

Pre- coaching:

A 'Pre-Coaching' session is conducted which will take the format of an online interview of the Business Owner. You will provide us with some detailed information about your business. Generally, this information will consist of a uniquely created list and include details of the business operation, the financial information and the people in the business.

We will then review and assess this information in advance of commencing the Program.

SO WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?

  • At the end of each weekly session, we will compile a Report of the Status of the Program based on the activities of the previous week;

  • Then the actions to be taken before the next session will be scheduled and tasks assigned;

  • The Online Folder will be updated with all relevant documentation;

  • The Business Profile will be updated where applicable

What is the Desired Outcome?

The Desired Outcome is to complete the Program with the following in place:

  • A Business Profile, including:

    • The Business Model​

    • A Business Plan

    • Forecasts and Budgets

  • A Business Valuation

  • A Business Processes report

  • An ongoing Tasks Timetable of projects that need to be attended to in the following 3 months

PRICING

We are completely transparent with our Fees - there are no hidden costs or 'upgrades' necessary to receive the full benefits of our Services.

 

The Total Investment is a Monthly Fee of $3,750 (including GST), for a Minimum 3-Month period (subject to the Guarantee below). If you would like to continue after the initial period, then we will negotiate an extended service fee. However, we believe that a 3-month program should be sufficient to prepare your business for sale.

GUARANTEE

If, at any time during the first 30 days, you are not completely satisfied with the progress, then you can cancel and get a full refund of all fees paid.
