WHAT DOES A VIRTUAL CFO DO? Your Virtual CFO will guide the Business Owners and Senior Management towards Growing the Business and achieving its Strategic Goals. The Virtual CFO will be involved with: Analysis of the current Financial Position of the business; Identifying areas of strength and weakness;
Formulating a Business Plan; Designing a coherent and effective Reporting Mechanism; Mentoring key Staff Members; Leading Specific Transactions; Business Strategy.
THE APPROACH The objective of the CFO Service is to create value for shareholders through systematic analysis and action.
THE 3-PHASE APPROACH: We adopt a structured 3-phase approach, which can be tailored to your unique situation and budget. PHASE 1: Initial Business Assessment Here we perform a detailed analysis of the financial position and year-to-date performance of the business. A comprehensive report of the financial analysis is prepared together with a "desktop" Business Valuation and a detailed Business Plan incorporating specific tasks to be undertaken; PHASE 2: Monthly Review This phase consists of implementing the Business Plan tasks; comparing the monthly performance to the forecasts and providing Financial Management advice to management and shareholders. PHASE 3: Annual Assessment
The new financial year starts with a review of the performance of the past 12 months and an assessment of the position of the business relative to budgets and other forecasts. The Business Valuation is updated and the Business Plan adjusted for new information and circumstances
FINDING THE TIME The entire process is designed to be effective and time efficient. This is critical, as whilst a very valuable addition to the business, the aim is to establish a routine that is sustainable and generate results.
To achieve this the entire process is virtual and online.
Meetings will be done via Zoom video conferencing
Dropbox folders will be used to share information
Each month a timetable of meetings and deliverables will be agreed in advance.
PRICING
The price will be determined with reference to the time required. This is generally linked
to the complexity of the business.
Pricing is monthly and will run on a 6 month contract.
The first 6 month includes Phase 1 and Phase 2, the second 6 months includes Phase 2 and Phase 3. As such time allocation is not consistent over the 6 months.
The Price Range for unlisted SMME ranges from approximately $1,500 per month to $2,500 per month, plus GST.
