A well prepared and considered valuation is far more than just crunching of number in a model formula.
It important to understand the principal method of business valuation and the way to apply them, and after that professional judgement play a big role. Valuation professionals make judgement calls on many aspects of the valuation which ultimately effect the resulting valuation.
These include valuation methodologies and assumptions that effect the various risks the business faces, as well at the potential for the business going into the future.
These include, amongst others:
Ø the valuation model to be used
Ø the economic and industry environment in which the business operates
Ø the outlook of the particular company
Ø the business management, and their effect of the future of the business
Because no two companies are exactly alike, these factors will vary and need to be professionally consider and professional judgement made.
We have many years’ experience in professional practice working with SMME’s, as well as valuing them. As such we are well positioned to deal with these specific challenges, and to get to the point of a fair valuation as soon as possible, within an appropriate fee.
